Calvin Klein’s new #MYCALVINS campaign features a line-up selected by Solange Knowles and we love it. The campaign which focuses on the concept of family and unity saw Solange hand pick, Kelela (of Ethiopian descent), Devonte Hynes (Dev) of Blood Orange, Caroline Polachek, and Adam Bainbridge of Kindness. In a new video, dropped earlier today, the group dons Calvin Klein denim during a jam session.
The campaign focuses on the bondage between family which as a result, makes them a pillar of strength. It serves as an inspiration in showing individuals how connections can be made and how people of different cultures, creed and race can unite on the basis of sharing similar interests. The campaign places further emphasis on the symbolism of the traditional American Quilt. Way to go Raf Simons!
