Badgal RiRi – officially Robyn Rihanna Fenty – is no stranger to making groundbreaking progress in anything she pursues and today she might have topped all her accomplishments. Earlier Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton known by the acronym, LVMH and Ri announced the creation of FENTY, a new luxury fashion house named after the singer.

The hazel-eyed beauty who hails from Barbados has made history today with this announcement becoming the first woman,  woman of colour, and person from the Caribbean to make such a move. Rihanna’s fashion brand, FENTY, will be the first since Christian LaCroix in 1987 to have an eponymous house at the world’s largest luxury goods conglomerate alongside other luxury brands including Louis Vuitton Givenchy, Fendi, Dior, Emilio Pucci and Moët & Chandon champagne, just to name a few.
